    Imma rock & roller, an all day toker and every once in a while I like a little country in my stew. A while back I was watching Crossroads or something to catch Van Morrison and the Mavericks were on too. I was so impressed I finally got around to buying this CD. If you ain't never listened to them check out this CD, it has only one bad song on the whole thing.

    Raul Malo kicks ass.

    they've done some really solid things. Kinda got outcast from "mainstream country" because he's cuban and they do things a little differently. But I enjoy them, saw them live way back at Spirit Sq, they were finishing up a tour so they didn't care what they were doing, just laid it out there.

    Never really cared about or for country music they want to put on the radio, but now and again I'll take to something like this.

    am not a big mavericks fan but aye listen tae em sometimes :)
