    fucking love them

    I loved At The Drive In, so when they broke up I heard about the singer and guitarist forming The Mars Volta, I gave them a shot. I didn't like them. I guess I was expecting ATDI

    I dunno, my musical tastes have matured since then and now I can't get enough of them.

    wow. didnt' know the two were related. i kind of like both of those bands in a "fringe" sort of way... at the drive in reminded me a little bit of the toadies first album -- at least, the vocals did.
