I wanna see it. Rodriguez has an interesting perspective. Desperado, the hollywood version, was cheesy as well, but I liked it. And Dusk Till Dawn kicks major ass. I've always wanted to see it. I will and report back to ya. There, happy now.:)

Isn't that the name of the two brothers that wanted to fuck up Pinky in the episode of "Happy Days" with the demolition derby?

never really thought it was cheesy myself. very low budget...but a good movie. desparado wasn't so much a hollywood version of el mariachi, but more of a sequel. supposedly, the movie was originally intended to be a mexican mad max type thing, in three parts as well, but it seems like that concept has been abandoned. even so, the two movies certainly have a mad max feel to them, along with the same sense of humor.

cool. i thought the cheesy parts were the poor acting, but the story is good. not excellent, but good.

anyhoo, it was mad max-y i guess and i love that kind of stuff. however, i want it to make some freggin sense and some convincing acting efforts. i let those go bec i wanted to see more gun fights, and wanted to know what's gonna happen next. i guess that is why i just had to watch it all the way thru. i was at the point of no return, so to speak. the street chase and gun fights were pretty cool.

he was such an idiot about his guitar, tho. went back for it! i mean, c'mon now. people are getting killed! leave the guitar, for crying out loud. better yet, leave town! sheez. it was obviously a case of mistaken identity. plus he was at the wrong place, wrong time and is in grave danger - and yet, he sticks around and dicks with the girlfriend of the baddest dude!!! what the...

i'm just so shocked he survived all that, didnt get his ass shot, and just mossied out of there after it was all quiet! it was the time to stay and do his maricahi stuff. the bad dudes were all dead. ayyyyyy, caramba!
    :D
