    Played like ass.

I can't really rip into either QB. I know they blitzed more than other teams, but damn. 6 weeks, and we have all day to throw.

This week, and it just did not happen.

James has no better right to the LG spot than Tuten. If they don't think Nesbit's the guy, I guess we'll be putting a pick there. Dammit, easy to find a way to screw up a good thing with our left side of the line, isn't it? That seems to be the theme this year - find a way to fuck up the few things going right.

    Hey peppers got a sack.

Great move fox, on pulling Nesbit. That was a big help.

what was up with that horrible looking pull blocking James was doing on pass plays? Did that ever work?

I'm not getting into any QB debate as both QB's had no time what so ever to do anything. Both QB's held onto the ball too long but no WR did anything to get open. The line looked ill prepared for this game and I put that squarely on the coaches. The QB's were sitting ducks. Word of advice for Weinke, SLIDE

Once if I remember correctly... the other times the backer came pretty much free.

Based on todays play, I would actually say he has less right than Tuten. At least Tuten only had penalties, James contributed to the total destruction of our QB's. I don't know, James seemed to do ok at RG in the pre-season, maybe he is simply a better fit there than LG.

I also think it is time to put Nesbit back in. I had noticed in the couple of games prior to his benching that he had been badly beaten on a couple of occasions, but his overall play was still not bad. And we at least seemed to have some sort of consistency on the line. Of coarse, they said he had an ankle sprain that he had been playing on, so that might be the reason for him to still be on the bench. Although, in truth I never actually heard Fox say that was the reason for his benching, just assumed it was so. Either way, something needs to change.

I'm hoping they are just letting Nesbit's high ankle sprain heal.

  9. you can't blame it all on the line...the problem is also the receivers are being jammed at the line and are getting out clean, which means it takes longer for them to get open....and the young QBs take more time in making decisions...the line can't keep them off forever, if they get 5 seconds, then the ball should be gone.

They didn't have 5 seconds, TS. They barely had 3.

If they were sitting back there holding the ball, then, yeah. That's not the case.
