The GF and I saw this a couple of days ago. I have a logic question for anyone else who saw it regarding the ending. If you haven't seen it, don't read on. Come back when you have...

OK, so she saves him at the end. Very disappointing tro say the least.

    BUT...

If he lives from Valentine's Day on, and she didn't start writing to him until around April 1 later that year (2006), then why did he wait two years to see her when he could have just gone to the restaurant that fall where she was waiting for him? He was alive and well when he skipped out on the dinner date. She was writing to him and getting to know him while he was alive and doing nothing to meet her in person. (He also did not call her that night when she asked him to and it was her ex-boyfriend.)

The logic gets flawed when you get to that point. By the way, I knew it was him that got hit by the bus right after it happened because he always wears a brown coat in the movie. Anyway, I was fine with the film (suspending belief, but they assume that you'll do that) until the end when she saves him because it messes up the chain of history like in Frequency (which is on the same lines as this film). It's Frequency meets Sleepless in Seattle.
