My kid and I saw it last weekend. It was great.... for kids and adults. Everyone will enjoy it. There needs to be more films like this. :xyzthumbs

It does start out slow and has some funny parts at first. The Incredible family has retired from super hero status and is living in some kind of wittness protection program. They all hide their super powers from the public, though they all struggle with the limitations on a daily basis.

The boy is in sports and wants to use his super speed to win, but he can't because his parents don't want others to know about his powers. The mother uses her super-stretching powers around the house. Violet, the daughter doesn't seem to understand her powers, so she never uses them. Mr Incredible, an insurance company phone representative drives a POS and has gained weight since being out of service. He struggles the most with the retirement. We don't find out about the baby's powers until the very end.... a nice touch.

A young Incredibles fanatic wants to be a sidekick, but is shunned by Mr Incredible, so he becomes the villian and arch-nemisis out to do away with all super heros including the Incredibles.

A good half hour into the film, the Incredibles are back and on a mission.

All in all, very well done. The story was ok and it had a lot of funny scenes. Some situations were a little old for the younger crowd. But again, I think everyone enjoyed the show.
