I saw it this weekend. I was a bit disappointed. As Silver said, it needed more Hulk. And no Hulk smash

The acting was good no complaints there and I like the animation, just needed more of it.

Rumor has it that the next Hulk movie will have the grey Hulk emerge. That sould be interesting.

In San Francisco. He started an avalanche of cars with a smash at the top of a hill.

I saw it last night. I was a little disappointed, but I can't exactly tell you why. They spent a LOT of time building depth into the main characters, but I can't think of anything specifically that was unnecessary that could've been eliminated without affecting the story itself.

The writing was good, and I especially liked the exchange between David Banner (Nick Nolte) and Betty Ross (Jennifer Connelly) toward the end of the movie about crossing natural human boundaries and the consequences for doing so.

I guess my main problem with the movie was the casting. Sam Elliott made a decent general, but like someone else said, that mustache was a distraction. Jennifer Connelly was good, and she's played that type of role before ("A Beautiful Mind"). But the actor cast as Bruce Banner was way too buff for a bio-nuclear genetecist (like he has time to live in a gym), and Nick Nolte as a super-genius? I wasn't sold, especially since he looked almost exactly like his last mug shot. The man looked like he'd been sleeping under a bridge. I realize he'd spent all that time in prison, but I gotta think genetic scientists are meticulous, type-A to the core, and are not that messy. I could be wrong about that, though.

I did enjoy seeing the military's new toys in action (the F-22 and the AH-66), but the end battle between the Hulk and his father was too over the top for me. During most of that scene I was thining, "Uhh... okay."

I am interested in the sequel. Hopefully the storyline will be good. :)

What I meant was the Hulk did not say "Hulk smash." That's what I was wanting to hear.

Eric Bana was cast because Ang Lee did not want some wimpy guy playing Banner. He had a valid point. It may work in the comics but who wants to sit and watch a wimp (a la Screech from Saved by the Bell) on the screen for two hours. I sure don't. He also had a valid point that on one cares about Banner in the comics, so he had to make Banner interesting.

I liked Sam Elliott. I think he had the look down and his acting was good too.
