right now; just cooked up a mess of collards, my first try. The initial cooking is done. Now I cook a portion up in an iron skillet w/some fatback. Yuuuum-yum!
Sunday dinner: collards, a cake of cornbread, maybe a small pork roast.

Y'all want to come over and sniff around, maybe partake in a helping?

Well yeah. I was over in Moore County yesterday and picked up a mess from a farmer, beings I was there anyhow. I couldn't see them setting around until next Sunday, so I went on and cooked them up. They cooked down to about a gallon, I might freeze some to boot.[Sunday's my big meal-cooking day.]
