Nice. The Atlanta coaching staff can't judge anyone when it comes to class, and I never felt like we did anything out of line. We were tough and cocky, which I loved, but we didn't hit people after the whistle or take shots at people like they did.

are you high? i just went back and looked at the game and hoover certainly didn't throw it - he flipped it away and wasn't even looking at Hall. Hall proceeded to throw it at Hoover. That was an awful call.

i dont think hoover did it on purpose but still... he did toss the ball at the guy who tackled him, just like u cant spike the ball near an opposing player, shitty luck for us, but it was an understandable call

No, he didn't. Hoover didn't even look at Hall, he just flipped the ball as he was rolling up to get off the ground. It didn't even hit Hall, Hall reached out and grabbed it in the air before shoving it back into Hoover's helmet.

    Oh, yeah they were. :77321_bs:
During the 3-4 minute "cooling off period that ensued, they replayed the incident on the scoreboard...each time it got the crowd and the sideline even more worked up.

The next play was not pretty, but the overall result of that fiasco rocked.

I think that penalty helped a lot in winning the game for us. Got the Panthers mad as hell, the crowd mad as hell. We looked like a different team after that, and the crowd went berserk whenever we sacked Vick. I loved watching us grind that bastard into the turf. :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

if flipping the ball gets a flag, in the first qtr Smitty purposely flipped the ball right at Hall, and got no flag?

Disagree. They showed the camera angle from behind the ref, and although he blocked most of the shot, there were a a couple of clear frames at the end where Proehl had the ball and the ground made it pop out, AFTER he had already touched a knee out of bounds.

    Should have been a catch.

Bill Maas is a fuckering wanker.
