    Didn't want to say it too loud. Refs mighta thrown a late flag on it.

    A-Vick embellished the hit. Refs failed to realize Mexico STIFF ARMED McCree (meaning he was bracing for a hit and was trying to gain an additional yard or 2). Can't touch the chosen one.

    B-Hoover flipped the ball up, Hall pushed Hoov in the back of the head with the ball, and Hoov saw the flag and reacted as if to say (in his words postgame) "wasn't me." Ref flagged him for it. John Clayton told me (I was luck to be seated next to him), he had NEVER seen a call that bad. Ever.

    C-Proehl's feet were in bounds, but he did not control the ball when he went out. Garbage ruling, but thats the way it reads. Collin had it right--unfortunately, refs made the right call.

    As I mentioned in another thread, the Hoover penalty was quite possibly the worst call I have EVER seen. Even the announcers were aghast.

    I dunno - remember the NBA Wester Conference Championship game back in... 2002? The one where Kobe elbowed Bibby in the face and they called the foul on Bibby. That was the worst call I can remember seeing.

    That being said, the Hoover call was dreadful.
