    Lots of upset people around the office today. Good times, at least for me, now that both UVA and VA Tech lost. Actually, VA Tech lost twice last night.

    The announcers had it right. The running game was working so why do you have Glennon (who is a terrible passer) trying to win the game for you.

    Terrible play calling. I wasn't that overly impressed with Kansas or Todd Reesing. He must be REALLY short because he has to arc the ball just to get it over the line. Virginia Tech must be kicking itself today.

    Play calling had nothing to do with the 10 points we gave up on interceptions in the first half. Glennon had NO business throwing either of those balls.

    The punt fake was bad though. I was screaming at the TV when we brought our split guys in tight.

    I'm not a VA Tech fan, neither do I dislike them. And yes, I was as confused as everyone else watching the game as to why they abandoned the running game after driving downfield and scoring on the back of Ore. But, "Fuck you coaching staff"? It's easy to sit in your living room and call the people that have won award after award idiots. Beamer is a great coach and I think he deserves a little more respect than that.

    Beamer was hired in 1987 as the Head Coach of the Hokies and since then he has had only 4 seasons where he finished under .500, and that was back in the start of his career when VT was awful, and an independent team. He has finished 13 seasons ranked in the top 25, twice #3. He has five conference titles and 1 of the 3 ACC championship games (been to 2 ACC champ. games in 3 seasons). He has won 10 coach of the year awards including the Bear Bryant Award.
