    Once again we're talking about UNC's DOWN season. His year going to the NCAA tournament WASN'T UNC's down season. You may wanna check back into that hukt awn fonix you were talking about.

    so you know nothing about recruiting as well. Its March. At this point UNC has 3 McDonalds All Americans on board. They've also ALREADY have 5 in place for the next year. Now UNC isn't the only school in the nation. So lets so that outta those 180 some odd schools a FEW of them have picked up scholarship athletes. How many more do you think will be available come fucking July?? 1 or 2 top level guys at best. So A guy gets hired in July, has to meet his new team, teach them the game plan, move his family to a new state, do interviews with press and athletic boosters due to his new job, AND STILL pull one of the 2 or 3 recruits that are worth a damn before practice starts in FUCKING SEPTEMBER?!?!?!?

    You're an idiot. I mentioned a reason they went downhill.

    And obviously you don't know anything about actually putting in some time to keep a program going. We're already saying that he had talent in his first year. He was recruiting for his SECOND Year. Please learn to read.
    Doherty didn't do what needed to be done for the program.
    I'm not sure what else I can say on that. If you're too stupid to understand that very simple statement, then there's really no hope for you.

    Exhib A: Pat Knight was an assistant coach at the school he was already at. He was already recruiting the kid for his father. Pat Knight took the Head coach job in Feb. NOT JULY.


    Exhibit B: If you knew ANYTHING about NCAA basketball recruiting you'd know that players VERBAL before they sign, so signing date really has very little to do with the actually addition of players and is rather a formality. Sorry you needed to use Wikipedia to be wrong when you could just have saved your time, google's, time and wikipedia's time and just continued to be wrong all on your own.
