Maybe because it is a religious message given to my son in a public school? Maybe I don't care to have that given to my child in a school anymore than you would want your child to be given Allah Akbar medallions or a Satan Rocks guitar pick?

You really have to ask that question?

What Would Jesus Do is a religious message? Really?

Worship Jesus as your saviour is a religious message.

Jesus is a historical figure. One associated with compassion and peace. Terrible asking a child what he would do. Simply terrible.

What Would Ghandi Do? What Would Martin Luther King Do?

    Fucking infuriating I tells you.

If you want to quibble about this historacity of Jesus lets try What Would King Arthur Do?

Can you be a bit more disingenuous?

You probably are being sincere, however.

There is no room for sincerity in a good debate

No Christianity shouldn't be forced on any children in school. You're making a mistake classifying my beliefs with truly knowing them all. I do feel religion has the right to be allowed on school grounds as with anti-religion. If a group wants to gather and pray they have that right. If they choose not to that also have that right.
This question doesn't make much sense because a boycott is voluntary, but as far as banned goes, no book should be banned, but I believe if you're delivering a message it shouldn't be deceitful in nature, but once again you're assuming to know all of my beliefs.

I've made no assumptions about your beliefs. I can make some educated guesses, but I make no assumptions. I don't believe I've made either in this thread.

Ideas are far more dangerous than isolated mindless violence.

Thank you! Finally someone calls on the correct "idea."

We don't give a shit about violence, per se, because it is accepted as part of our society. The "idea" of violence isn't dangerous to modern American thinking.

However, the idea of no god is probably in the top 5 of all time US boogeyman ideas.

Hardly. No one is scared of someone suggesting that there is no god. I'd be surprised if many people over the age of 16 had never heard someone say something like that. You're confusing a perception of danger with a fundamental distaste. People aren't going to see anti-American movies not because they're scared of the message, but because they're annoyed by it. The same goes for anti-Christian movies. People aren't scared of them, they're just irritated by them.

No, I was referring to more substantial ideas. For instance, your soulless sophistry is more potent and dangerous than erpi's mindless verbal violence.
