    Looks like The Exorcist, 2005 version. Part of me wants to see it, part of me doesn't. I'm torn.

    yeah, horror movies are nothing as far as scaring me but movies like this make you think.

    Horror is a form of fiction, often borrowing from either fantasy or science fiction. But throw religion into it and suddenly people are shifted into the zone of near-100% gullibility. The Exorcist of course is the most handy example... it put numerous weak and unstable people in counseling/hospitalization. The phenomenon can be compared to the power of Voodoo in the Carribean. A witch doctor puts a "curse" on a victim, and the victim dwindles and literally dies from fear, because he BELIEVES he is cursed.

    Suspension of disbelief is the goal of every storyteller. But I see a trend towards the return of erroneous and backwards superstitions about the nature of otherworldly forces and their relationship to Man, of which this movie appears to be a part.

    no, i believe in good therefore i believe in evil. demon posession has nothing to do with voodoo and or hoodoo.
