    Rented this over the weekend. Basically a smart religious girl from a small town gets a scholarship to a university. While there, she becomes possessed…the movie shows the things that happened to her and tried to explain (through the trial of the priest) whether she had medical problems or whether she really was possessed.

    It was based on a true story

    I though this was a remake/different take on the Exorcist. Am I wrong on that?

    No…it is actually based on a case from Germany in the early 70’s. they basically used that story and transferred it to the US...it isn't related to the Exocism series...

    Yes, the it was pretty good.

    I don’t know if how they explained how she got possessed in the movie is accurate of how it really happened in Germany. It was a weekend night and she was at her dorm…it was one of those weekend where most students went home so she was there petty much by herself. They explained that 3am is when demonic activities usually start…the opposite of 3pm which is holy (easter)…at 3am is when it started happening (don’t want to do a spoiler). When they reinacted it, it looked like she was being sucked into the bed.

    Sounds more like liberalism has gotten a hold of her. I'm sure Thelt will agree.
