Horn is a good corner prospect. He'll have to play more zone in Carolina, which is a concern. Guys who thrive in island man coverage at the college level often struggle at anticipating route combinations in the NFL. It's a different game, frankly. Panther fans will have to expect some growing pains.


Taking him at #8 is probably a rookie mistake by Fitterer. I'm guessing he locked in on Horn when a trade back with New England seemed viable.

 

The best 2 available OT are primarily RT. Anyone have any idea what happens next?

 

You could take Jenkins and move Moton to left tackle. I think the left side/right side distinction becomes less important over time.

 

We're going to take a Safety or Linebacker at 39, then trade back up for a Tackle who's better suited on the right side or as a Guard and has a higher bust chance than Little.

 

I'm starting to think that hiring a guy from an organization that couldn't fix its line despite throwing a fair amount of picks and signings at it was not the best plan to fix the line.
