    no. i knew it was knocking Jesus so i didn't. but i might see the movie even though i know it will tick me off. but i can't say anything about it if i don't see it for myself but then again i really don't want to give them any of my money. just have to go in knowing it's fiction

    The book does no such thing. It only offers a different history than the Bible.

    if it says Jesus married mary magdeline and had kids then yes it does!

    How would that be a knock on Jesus? Was he not a man?

    If anything, the book knocks Peter, which is why the Catholics are all in a tizzy over it.

    You shouldn't be afraid of things that cause you to seek further information. I researched Brown's claims and found them ludacris (intentional sp).

    The book was highly entertaining though.

    Is it a sin to get married and have kids? I'm not saying it really happened, because frankly I don't know, but have you ever noticed in the Bible that Jesus goes from being 13 to age 30. What happened in between? What's wrong with the possibility that he married? Maybe that was part of God's plan. For all we know maybe its his ancestor that God has chosen to stop the Anti-Christ when the time comes. All of this is just speculation I know, but that doesn't make it an impossibility, and it definitely doesn't make it "wrong".
