The DaVinci Code WITH SPOILERS

So who saw this over the weekend?

Never read the book, but i thought i was a very good movie in spite of the fact that i figured out the ending in the first 30 minutes so it lacked a climactic finish. But in fairness to the movie that may have been because the premise was already out there, i just didnt know the actual bloodline beforehand. I did however enjoy the Keystone mystery as I solved the riddle litterally seconds before Hanks did really sucked me in and saved the way too obvious ending.

But as a movie i thought it was great, definately worth seeing again. Im sure since everyone else read the book other opinions will be stronger and more critical.

 

I actually wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. I doubt that I'll buy it, but it wasn't the worst movie I've seen this year.

Seeing Magneto 2 days in a row was a bit much for me.

How come when the knocked the guy down from the back of the armored car did they leave the gun?? And he was firing at them as they left. They grabed the box, how hard would it have been to stomp the guy one more time and grab the gun?

Also, it's been a long time since I read the book, but didn't Hanks and the chick get romantically involved near the end, besides just a goodbye kiss?

And how in the hell did they make the switch from the plane to the car without the cops seeing them, I totally missed that. I'm gonna have to go back and re-read the book.
