I don't blame him a bit actually. If I was shown to not be able to read without skipping entire sections while claiming I had read it, I'd go there as well. I love how the target keeps moving with vp. Oh, I read it and didn't see that. Oh, well, I see it now but it doesn't really mean that. Oh, well, um, Bless your heart.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We got caught, it's embarrassing, lets not make this out to be more than it is.

a few players getting jewelry, some tutors doing too much work (cheating) - this could have easily gone on under Torbush (probably did) and probably occurs at every school in every sport.

Did it get us major advantages? Have we paid recruits or promised recruits "benefits" - nope. Maybe the tutoring part kept guys out of suspension, maybe it allowed them to weight-room more instead of writing a paper - that's it. Over-tutoring and cheating occurs everywhere, even outside of sports, we just got caught in a bad way.

Our academic status is still high in the nation for football (grad rates, etc) and will remain there.

When this first came out, many people felt the world was going to come to an end and that something truly heinous was occurring within the fball program. Now that the truth has come out (as much as will ever come out), will people lighten up? And regarding Butch, it isn't hard for me to imagine this happening to any coach with 10 potential draft picks on the team.

Nah, Blake would of steered Gabriel to Wichard. You have any idea how hard an angel would be to tackle? Just think of Blake's commission!! lol

Blake: "Hey Gary, I've got someone for you. This guy is the Messenger of God! No, seriously! But, I'll need one of those 'loans' again!"

That's why Blake was called "Black Santa."

I understand that you feel an overwhelming sense of joy that UNC is having issues, but that really says more about you than it does about anyone else.

And I clearly said that I read the doc but may have missed something, so I am not really sure how you think I am moving the target, but whatever.

I was looking at the major bullets, not the sub bullets, so to pin your hopes and dreams on that seems a bit drastic. It's also funny that you put 100% faith in the NCAA and seem to think that UNC has to prove them wrong, otherwise whatever the NCAA is to be taken as gospel. The NCAA has a long history of overexageration and overstatement, even when they have put NCSU on probation.

vp, this is what started it. You said as soon as they learned of the issues, they suspended. You were clearly wrong as I have proven yet you continue to argue that now, it's not major. That's why you are moving the target.

Media AND NCAA is going after Butch's 216 number.

I don't think the media will let up on Butch's 216 number until the NCAA addresses it.
