    REREAD WHAT I SAID.

You are jumping to a BIG, BIG, BIG, BIG conclusion here.

I did not say that I told my son to skip him. If that was the case then you would have reason to question me.

For the record, my son is a 5th grader and has his life already planned around the coming basketball season. I dread the thought that sometime during the season, I "may" have to tell him that something else (work, maybe ???) could get in the way of a scheduled home game OR him getting one of this season's bobbleheads (yeah, I'm assuming they'll be around again).

He and I haven't missed a Niners home game (except for one exhibition game) in the last 2 1/2 seasons......and we did attend 5 of 6 games at the Holiday tournament thing last season (we opted out of the early game on Sunday but stayed to the bitter end of watching those damn Cajuns romp at Halton).

I share this background with you because as much as he loves the Niners, EVEN HE (at his age) could figure out that Butter made many too many ill-advised decisions on the court last season.

I guess this is what I get for trying have a conversation with a child.

From your comments in this and other recent threads, I'm not a loyal fan because....

    --- I DON'T HATE Cincinnati.

--- I may THINK "not very positive things" about certain players that represent my alma mater.

--- I may let my work and/or family get in the way of attending a home basketball game or even watching one on TV.

My only regret is that wasted any time trying to carry on a conversation about my alma mater. But that's an easy problem for me to correct.

You can go live in whatever world it is that you live........Screw you
