Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe I ever insulted you (unless you consider "Marxist" an insult) until you shat on my allegiance to my team. What, did you honestly think it wouldn't piss me off? You knew what reaction you were going to get, and you damn sure deserved it.

And as for the "scroll feature," well I just happened to go back through the thread and these were the only two posts you made before your "for all the reasons stated" comment.

So like I said, "you didn't actually state any, dumbass."

As noted, I didn't insult you until you insulted me (unless I'm forgetting something in a past encounter).

I'm not intentionally ignoring anything. If there is a "reason" somewhere in your post, by all means, explain it.

 

Well I just moved to Washington State, but I still pull for the Panthers over Seattle or Denver, which are the closest teams to me.

Either be proud of who you are and where you came from or just admit you don't have enough character to do so. You need the acceptance of going with the crowd.

 

That's not a reason and that's not what you said. You said "bandwagon flavor of the week," which didn't apply at all to the situation and even if it had would indicate changing allegiances instead of just one to a school you didn't attend.

As noted, we're talking about people who have been a fan of one and only one team practically their entire lives. You haven't given a single reason why people should abandon that one lifelong allegiance for something new, and moreover, you continue to insult the people who feel more of a responsibility to stay true to their long-held favorite. It would have been easy for me to dump UNC for UVA given that the Wahoos have consistently been a better football team, or to dump UNC for UNCC when the 49ers were better than the 8-20 Tar Heels. I didn't because I always have been and presumably always will be a UNC fan. You not respecting that and even going so far as to insult it without provocation indicates a pretty serious character flaw on your own part.

its one thing to pretend you are a Tarheel, 49'er whatever...
but you can be a fan of any team ,wether you went there or not. otherwise nobody could be a Panther fan because they most likely never played or worked for them.
