At 39 you'd have to see what position falls. An edge guy may fall or one of the better TE or even a LB. Not saying no to WR but follow the teams rankings

We'll probably all be surprised by who they pick. Best guess is that none of us will guess who #39 will be.

Is there a legit Safety at 39? If so, pull the trigger on that.

Probably going for a Safety later, not much rated in the 20-50 range.

so Fitterer said you don't move to #1 unless you have conviction about who you want... then said they are still evaluating all the QBs? Games GMs play...

Are they trying to pull the Manning/Rivers draft day trade? Makes me nervous... just say who you're drafting and get the contract signed. I think available FA's can make a better decision knowing who the QB is going to be.

He wants Stroud, but is hoping that Houston is so enamored with Young that they’re willing to give up capital to make sure they get him. If we manage to swing a trade like that, it will go down as the one of the great GM heists in history.

I did think it was interesting Fitterer's comment about how much money QB's are getting now, so rookie contracts can be to your advantage. So he felt trading up to #1 overall was better than giving up two #1's and guaranteeing $230m to Lamar Jackson.
