That Alien Stomach Virus

Has attacked Wossaville. That 24 hour puke and run thing. Lenore has it now. It started a week ago. Lenore’s five year old got it first. Coming from both ends. As only a five year old adult can do, once Lenore told her what to do with the bucket she pretty much took care of herself. She is probably the most self sufficient five year old I’ve ever seen.

Next came the 14 year old. He got it Sunday and did pretty good with it. Tuesday night the eight year old got it. Luckily he was in the shower when it hit him. Although somehow he managed to puke on every single surface in the shower except for the bottom of the tub. He also never got the concept of the bucket down. He would hold onto the bucket and proceed to puke on the bed. I think Lenore must have gotten up 15 times during the night and changed his sheets numerous times.

Last night Lenore got it. She has taken the brunt of the invasion this past week. Cleaning beds, walls, floors, kids and clothes. I managed to snore through all of it until the alarm went off. I reckon I’m next. The bad part is I already spent the last 10 days with a cold/flu bug I finally beat so now the alien virus is free to invade.

Anybody else dealing with this fucker? Apparently it’s running rampant around here. Works its way through the family one at a time.
