That comment was in response to what it could do for your RPI. So what good is beating a team with an RPI of 5, when you'll turn around and lose to a team with an RPI of 275. It negates anything a committee would see in your win, hence why the RPI has flaws.

CUSA marketed itself well with Memphis the next state over and Louisville right to the north. Was it the most ideal situation? No, but better than the current one the school is in. It was marketable b/c there were usually 2 or 3 teams ranked in that conference. Until recently, the A10 was lucky to have one. Ranked teams will market themselves no matter where the market is.

I'm sorry... you only ASKED if I was retarded. Who cares about long term? Every program, except Charlotte maybe, b/c they lack vision to fund football to get stability in a much better geographical conference. Short term does what it can in one season for you, but likely doesn't better you long term. Heard of George Mason lately? Didn't think so and they made a run to the Final Four, yet you would believe one shot at UNC would do wonders for Charlotte? I just don't see that, if you do that's your opinion and I'll leave you to that b/c this conversation is getting nowhere.

I don't recall ever whining about anything. I never complained about the guidelines that they would play us under. I'm not bitching for them to come to Halton, I just can understand why the team (or Lutz) would say "no". Ego plays a big part no matter where the current state of the program is, and he possibly hasn't lowered himself to that level yet. Everyone knows about ego in college basketball.

You don't make any sense. I only said UNC is not the end all be all, substitute them for anyother top program and play, you just happen to think no other team would come play us, so we should just be happy we're getting the phone call, and that's fine. I just think there are other teams out there willing to bite with a better split on tickets, other than UNC. You don't, so big deal we disagree.

Sustained success is something built over the years by being consistent. Something Charlotte has trouble with. To you it is Lutz, to others it is conf. affiliation, and to others it is the location in the heart of the ACC. It doesn't matter which one you pick, one game against UNC, or even one win against them will not do it alone, it's a bigger problem for the program, UNC is not the one big enemy and if Charlotte beat them they'd still have the same problems with exposure, recruiting, and coaching (for you) the very next week. It would help somewhat short term, but long term those problems would persist without beating anyother teams of not consistently.

I'm stating people shouldn't sweat it b/c playing them wouldn't solve the programs problems.

I'm boycotting the program until Lutz is gone. I'm not the only one either. I know several who were season ticket holders longer tham me that are boycotting. He is killing that program.

I don't have the desire to even read most of this, much less address any of it. That's how little I care about UNCC anymore. Good luck with that idiot for a coach. It's only going to get worse.

    I definitely agree with this.
