Anyone else notice that their schedule rivals another team that was suppose to go undefeated: Louisville... If Virginia Tech wins out, and doesn't get into the national title game, then it truly is a political BCS system. Tommy Tuberville is right, and it's sad because I think Virginia Tech has a better chance of beating USC than Texas, but the media wants to see Vince Young play USC, and Texas didn't even look that good today. Did you guys also hear ESPN saying that if Texas lost they would probably only drop to #4. That's complete bullshit. Guarantee you we are like #11 next week and we barely lost to a now top 15 team, on a neutral site, without our starting quarterback who our whole offense centers around. I'd like to see Texas play Florida on a neutral site without Vince Young or Va Tech without Marcus Vick. And if we get put behind Notre Dame in the polls so help me God I will scream. Ok, they played USC tough, they deserve a gold star, but they still lost, they lost to a non ranked opponent, and their schedule is not nearly as hard as everyone thought it would be, especially with Tennessee falling again tonight. I hate ACC football, but I hope Virginia Tech goes undefeated and puts the pressure on the pollsters, cause I don't see how it is possible to keep this team out of the title game. As for Georgia, our defense settled down after the first two drives and overall did a good job, but without Shockley our offense sputtered. We have a bye week next week and get Shockley back for the Auburn game two weeks from now, and we are not losing with Shockley. I'll see DaveW in the title game, as for now, I'm going to bed.

Dude, you're just plain crazy. I'd love to see an ACC team in the championship game, but it makes you look ridiculous to insult Texas' schedule. They played at Ohio State (a much tougher game than Georgia or most other teams have played this season), and while Texas Tech is overrated they're still pretty dangerous. Then you have Texas absolutely destroying some other good to solid teams (Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma). Note that Oklahoma's losses to UCLA and TCU don't look so bad now that each team is in the top 20 (although TCU definitely doesn't deserve to be there).

Oh, and I think the fact that Georgia barely lost despite how bad your QB played is more evidence of how mediocre Florida is.

Louisville play UNC and destroyed them. I bet that if you put UNC against Missouri or Colorado it would be a close game. I was just making the point of them hardly playing against any ranked teams. I was just over exaggerating cause I was pissed. sorry.

Louisville also got destroyed by South Florida. They're a perplexing team.
