There used to be a thread in here about online poker sites.

What are the best ones both for free and for money?

Yeah, Sly these are a few, I just started playing online the past few months and another I like is and with a lot of big names behind this site. It is fairly new so the traffic isn't as large as some of the other sites.

    www.fulltiltpoker.com

Also a few good sites for information about Texas Hold Em with a few reviews of sites to play on are:

    http://www.homepokergames.com/
    http://www.internettexasholdem.com/

I've played on RealPoker, PartyPoker and FullTilt. I play only on Party now. Just like the interface and structure better. Had too many crashes on FullTilt.

I usually play Truepoker but they have changed things and I have been having a lot more trouble with the connection(s). I may have to try out a few of those others.

if you go to cardplayter.com, register (free) and check out their forum, they have a system linked with ultimatebet.com. They offer freeroll tourneys and stuff, plus the articles are really good. I just got a subscription to the mag for my b-day. In fact, I am playing in a tourney right now (it's all free money, but I think your login with card player's poker game works on UB also, which has cash games).

Played in my first 7 card stud Sit n Go last night on Party. I'm not a big fan of 7 but the tourney was a ball. Finishing 2nd didn't hurt either.

    I am a big fan of www.cardplayer.com

Its the web site for the actually magazine. Great writers, plenty of players who contribute as well.

Yes, I have the subscription, and it rocks.
