He's allright but since he's not about to come out I probably won't pay much attention to him if possible.

    I'm ba-a-a-a-a-ck. The Carribean rocked.

I figured this had been talked about. But I thought I'd say a few words in edge wise.

On the football side, it sucks. It sucks for PR. It sucks because Tuten in marginal. It wouldn't be all that bad though, to lose him, IMO, because he's been fairly inconsistent.

I'd rather have him, and we probably will, but losing him wouldn't be as bad as losing Stussie. Tuten did OK subbing on the right side last year, with help.

So I hope the charges are untrue, and hope if any of it is true that Chris gets some counselling.

But taking a step back from football....

Not really. My wife works for a battered women/rape victems charity. She's the PR gal,but sometimes she has to deal with clients. Anyway, it's hard to get a restraining order, and yeah any joe blow would be out on $2500.

"Cying wolf" may happen, particuarly with football players, that's very rare compared to the sheer volume of women who are battered. Diedra Lane was sorta like that, but she was the abusive personality. Usually very traumatic for the women to step forward, difficult to prove, not a pleasent experience at all. That's sorta a bad way to get your bordem out of the way.

I noticed a mention of a rumor sheet that said before this happened, Terry was negotiating an extension.

    .
Random thought? I wouldn't currently take away thoughts of Campion getting a shot at tackle. That was his college position - it was his wall-off abilities and tendency to lunge that made everyone (rightly) project him to guard. he's very physical but lacks proper hands/technique right now, so I read, and between that and lunging it's not a good pair, but at 7th level you're not going to find a complete player. he's still got good feet and balance.

Granted the talent level is of a different level but I remember everyone writing off Trey Teague and Mark Tauscher as guards. Sometimes you can make a guy stick at tackle.
I was also thinking about the fact that TJ Washington stuck...
It's not as if any of them are anywhere near as talented or experienced as Terry, but it's not totally inconceivable that one step up and at least bide us a year's worth of time.

I think one scenario that would prove intriguing is moving Jamar Nesbit outside. He has both athleticism and size, carries the experience, and is straight out a better lineman than any of the depth, and probably better than Terry as well. he's got the feet to play tackle, and in this scheme he could get by with tackle where in the style Wise tried to fit in, it wasn't really going to be anything more than ass ugly.
Moving Jordan in at left guard gives us a very strong run blocking fivesome, probably the best we could field.

Of course that suggests Terry isn't around for over 4 games...no point in moving an established starter over for just a game.
