While I agree that this a great opportunity for Fox to make a statement that he is in control. Chris Terry is one of the most laid back players on the team. I do not agree that steroids would cause this problem. Having been an athlete and witnessed steroid use, I disagree with your assessment. In some cases maybe, not the case in this situation. Sounds more like to me we have another Deirdra Lane on our hands.

A raging 300lbs behemoth would have killed her. He was probably a little upset by her design.

Everybody better start scouting tackles, it looks like we'll be drafting one in the 1st next year.

I'm pretty heavily against first round offensive tackles.
Not with our skill set on offense.

If we wanted to go 3rd round, that's fine. First round is far too high. Right tackles can be found - corners and elite receivers aren't just hanging around waiting to be discovered.

dammit. Now you got me to thinking again.

I don't really have that much in on the tackles for this upcoming year. I feel like Kwame Harris of Stanford and

I don't see guys like Stinchcomb or Roche coming into play. We will probably favor the big motherfuckers for a while.

A lot of people have Brett Williams of FSU rated high. Tony Pashos is a guy I haven't seen much of, at all, but I like what I read, and he's preseason first team AA by Football News, 2nd team by TSN. He's anchored at RT for the Illini for three consecutive seasons.

It's hard to say what a Max Starks of Florida will do - he's got immense size and sometimes the really huge guys are just a bitch to project. I'll definately keep an eye on him though.

FYI here's a thread we put together a while back that rehashes some of this.

Isn't Terry a FA after this year? If so, he got his ticket out of here today.

If there was gunplay involved, I think under the Collective Bargaining Agreement he's gone for the year anyway. I ain't looking forward to Tuten starting for the whole year. Better look for a better FA tackle or possibly trade for one. If it's not one damn thing, it's another. Shit, what a way to start Training Camp.

IMO, if we were to see Terry out for the year, you'd actually see James starting. I don't think Tuten can hang it at RT in this scheme, and to tell the truth I wouldn't in the slightest of thoughts consider moving Steussie over.

Maybe Jordan can swing out? I remember someone suggesting it.

One tackle to watch out for in the college ranks this year is Robert Gallery...yes he's from Iowa! He's one of the bright spots on an O-line that many publications rank around 5th in the nation.
Gallery is a class act (the big lil-bro of former Hawkeye punter Nick Gallery and a good buddy of mine Jay Gallery), small town guy with a very laid back mentality off the field. Gallery went from playing WR and a state track star in the 100 and 200 in HS to TE at Iowa. After his freshman year he packed on LOTS of weight, went from 6-4 225 in HS to 6-7 275 as a freshman TE...last year he was at 285, now he's bulked up to 6-8 315 and he still has excellent footwork and speed!
The kids developed into a monster!

As for the current situation, I can see James at RT or Stuessie there with James at LT.
