    True.....but that's no big deal. Many current coaches pray to have their name identified as a potential candidate...cha-ching on their new contract

    That should piss off 11 other coaches in the ACC. On the way to a top 10 National Recruiting class and in the running for a Conference Championship and a BCS Bowl bid. It's not there yet but if you're a Tar Heel fan, you gotta love it.

    That whole sentence shows why he would make those comments. In the run for an ACC Championship and possibly a BCS bowl game, why would he say he is interested or wanted the job, all it would do is kill the moral of the team knowing there coach isn't coming back. The more he wins, the more money schools like UT will offer him.

    He is best to down play it now and not become a big deal.

    Like his friend Roy Williams said, "I could give a damn about Carolina" and we know how that worked out.
