and analysts too. everybody can shut the fuck up about georgia now. god they were overated.

nice way to bounce back for the vols. anyone know how the tie-breaker goes in the sec? you would think head-to-head record, but i have found that is hardly ever the case, which is stupid.

No, it is head to head. Last year, the problem was all 3 teams tied were 1-1 head up against the other two.

Vols control their own destiny the in the East, and we will be favored here on out in the SEC. Florida lost for the second time as well, and Georgia has Auburn and Florida to play. We are sitting pretty.

It really should not have been that close. We has so many chances to put them away, it should have never came down to the final play.

ok..yep, vols have the ball in their court

i think in some conferences it goes overall record, then points for or against or something, with head-to-head never coming into it. well, it always has on the video games. :laugh1:

I don't really remember any Georgia fans running their mouth except maybe me, but I think I'm the only UGA fan on this board. I just think it sucks that we can go 12-1, have a higher ranking than Tennessee and not go to the SEC championship. Besides LSU we are the only team that has to play the big 4 ranked teams in our conference and if we win out the best we can do is probably 4th. Strength of Schedule should definitely be put back into play. USC pretty much played their only good team on their schedule today, and the only reason Arizona State is ranked is they have been beating up on all the other bad PAC 10 teams. Still proud of my dogs, but it was a dissapointing loss.

Nah, you ok. Even around here in the SCRA, most of the UGA fans are good people that I know around here. I've heard some stories of where you don't want to be stuck at as an opposing fan in the heart of Georgia, but never experienced anything bad. My experience with UGA fans is better than that of Gamecock fans around here.

    That said........

Chumbawumba? Ranking means more than head to head? First of all, I think it will suck if yall are ranked ahead of us if you go undefeated, cause that will mean we will be undefeated in the SEC. I suppose that could happen if we lose to Notre Dame, but still, no way should pollsters determine who should go to the SCG. Their would be riots.

Win out, and yall will be at least third, probably second only to the SCG winner.

I'm not seeing USC losing another game. California was just about the only hope of them losing unless they slip up against a team like Oregon State, but I just don't see it happening. Oklahoma looks like they'll go undefeated too. The Big 12 is having a down year and Adrian Peterson is unbelievable, but to win out we have to beat Florida in Jacksonville and everyone knows how that always goes.
