Again, you wish this to be true so that you don't feel inferior. The reality is that I'm far more objective than you or pretty much anyone else. I call it like I see it, regardless of whether I like or dislike the person.

The things I ranted about were true all along, people like you just chose to ignore it while the team was winning. Jake had those flaws the whole time.

Oh please, no one even gives a shit who you are.

First, youre in denial on your objectivity. The fact you take things literally, berate differing opinions, and never seem to compromise lead me to that assumption. It was more an observation than a criticism. It doesn't make you superior or inferior, it is what it is.

Second, I'll be the first to admit he had serious flaws. What you failed to understand is that he then, like Tebow now, just had a way of being able to pull out a win. It's ironic that you now seem to like a flawed, yet successful QB. I'd venture to say if he was the panthers QB your remarks about him would be much more scathing.

You have your own biases and preferences, who are you trying to kid?

or at least get slotted back where it belongs. It's fine, it's an interesting story to people, but it doesn't have to be a weekly miracle.

It's a good story but way overhyped. When it's over the masses will look for something else and it'll be soon forgotten. Tebow should take more advantage of his 15 minutes. It won't last. If I were him I wouldn't be turning down all these commercials and appearances.

Jake was a charismatic guy and I loved him as our QB (when I wasn't hating him)... but for every Jacksonville/San Diego miracle there is an Arizona/Atlanta meltdown.

He was never a guy to surgically dismember a defense.

That's because I am both more intelligent and more objective than you are. I see things more clearly and more quickly than you do, so people insist that I'm wrong before history eventually proves me correct. Jake is a great example. I was objective and correct, while you guys were biased because he was a fun guy and you were wrong.

Again, that's a myth. It's a reflection of your limited intellect that you haven't grasped the significant of the 4th quarter being Jake's third lowest rated quarter and the one in which he had the most turnovers. He led some great comeback drives that people remember, but they also conveniently forgot the times when he gave away games in the fourth quarter. Somewhere in that Delhomme thread I listed the number of games he won in the 4th quarter versus those he lost for the team in the 4th quarter, and the number he won was just barely larger.

I don't blame you for not understanding. It's unrealistic to expect a mind like yours to have the ability to grasp the function of a mind like mine.
