Tech and Louisville

    They would still be rated higher than CUSA, I think we have already been down this road, taking away the top team or two and seeing where the conferences are ranked.

    well, they're picking on my original conference!

    my favorite games were against, memphis STATE, louisville and southern miss. i don't remember cincy being any great shakes back then (80s).

    You are right, I should not have added Cincy since he was only referring to Louisville.

    i mean, seriously...

    there's an elitist attitude from the acc teams, epecially when it comes to playing teams from a "lesser" conference.

    there's also an extreme underdog mentality from conference usa, which will overlook losses to major conferences and focus on the victories.

    i don't see the need to rip back and forth. the acc isn't as good as it thinks it is and c-usa (especially charlotte) isn't as bad as the acc thinks it is. there's no doubt that for charlotte to go out and beat duke and unc, it takes an incredible effort -- but that goes for virginia, fsu, miami, virginia tech, etc.

    (well except for "incredible" effort versus Duke this year - they look very beatable right now)

    yeah, charlotte beats fsu 8 out of 10 games this year.
