Darren Sharper said Tebow was "lightning in a bottle for half a season" in 2011. I guess that would make sense if Tebow didn't play 3/4 of a season plus two playoff games. I don't expect everyone in the media to like the guy, but actually being professional and doing research before bashing someone isn't too much to ask.

Guy won a playoff game for a team that was trying to suck on purpose. Dropped 300+ on a Steelers defense. Threw the winning touchdown. Son of a bitch can play. There's probably 25 QB's I'd rather have than him, but he's gotta be better than some of the shit laying out there right now.

He also played pretty well in the final three games of 2010.

I just like cheering against the national media. I'm not a Tebow fan, per se. I just loved the dumbass look on everyone's face after he beat Pittsburgh. Of course, that was quickly replaced with the Ryan Clark excuse.

Tebow played well, Lebeau is losing his touch and I think that's only going to become more apparent as the Browns/Bengals/Ravens appear to have foundations for successful offenses in place.

I like how Cincinnati is putting themselves together, but I don't trust Dalton for some reason. I guess I should. HE JUST WINSZ!1

Tebow was hamstrung in that game by McCoy running the ball on every single first down the whole game until the first play of overtime. It can't be overstated how much having an idiot OC made Tim look worse than he was.

You shouldn't trust him. He's crapped the bed in both of his playoff appearances.

This is a great example of why Belichick is such a genius. He did his homework, read Collin's post history on Tebow, and acted upon in post paste.

The same idiot OC that every analyst and writer was praising for re-doing the offense to suit Tebow, in season?

Me too, hopefully he will actually get a chance to be a regular football player in NE. But judging by all the questions BB has already faced day 1 I doubt it.
He's probably regretting it already. It almost seems like Tebow welcomes the interviews judging by his I'm sure we'll talk later comment rather than being smarter and trying to stay in the background.

However, I don't know how anyone can deny how much of a horrible passer he is. I don't know why NE would bother taking Brady off the field for Tebow. Brady actually has been pretty successful using the QB draw himself.

People that want to champion Tebows playoff win somehow seem oblivious to the 3 games he was horrid as a passer in before that game and the following game. Do people actually forget that prior to the game winning pass against Pitt that went for 80 yards Tim had completed only 9 passes all game?

Do people forget the Broncos went 8-8 and the factor Prater played in those wins?

In 2011 he had a 46.5 pass completion percentage and he also had more fumbles than anyone else with 14. Does it get much worse? His 6 Ints were hardly due to his incredible accuracy either but rather the conservative play calling and how woeful some of his overthrows and underthrows were opposing DB's couldn't even sniff them.

He certainly has some value as a runner but with Brady as the entrenched QB I don't really understand the move, not unless they plan on pulling Brady from the final 2 minutes of every game so Tim can lead some miracle finish. Its not like Brady was lacking in that department either.
