I'd like to hope you're right, but I have a bad feeling that Belichick somehow makes it work.

I'm sure Pi. is over the moon about this.

It makes some sense, with McDaniels. Nobody's going to want Tebow starting if Brady throws an interception, which even the extremely delusional Tebow fans realize.

I don't know this thing can run pretty deep.

He's been so written off as a QB that I don't think it will matter much.

The Jets were completely attention-whoreish about the Tebowmania thing so its not surprising that it turned into what it did there. I expect NE to manage that like they do everything else.

The Patriots won't allow it to be a circus. When Mallets contract comes due he'll be traded. Maybe playing behind Brady for a year or two with a clipboard in his hand will help him be a serviceable backup.

He's probably already improved from where he was in Denver, and he'll continue to get better in New England. The people who think this will blow up on the Patriots are delusional. This is a case of them being smart enough to get a useful commodity for nothing with no risk.

Only reason it's low risk was stated: those fans aren't going to call for him over Brady, pretty much ever.

Y'all think he waived his requirement to compete for the starting job? Before anyone takes me seriously here, it's a joke.

prolly the best place for him...he'll learn from Brady, won't have a lot of pressure right now, etc...

I think there's some resentment after McNabb Vick and VY never caught on they way they hoped.
