Beating up on people and looking good. Chris Paul and Deron Williams have grown by leaps and bounds. And Kobe joining the team has made them a lot better on the defensive end. They finally figured out that in International Competition they won't need big bulky centers who can't get out on people on the perimeter and Howard and Bosh look good down low with Boozer backing them up, and this team shoots a ton better. Dwayne Wade looks like the Wade of 2006, James has shot the ball well and Melo (who was the most consistent, and personally I thought the best, player and drilling those 3's that are mid range jumpers in the NBA. Only thing that is bad is when they hot dog around. I know they are trying to entertain a little at the same time but against the better team sometime they miss out on 10 easy points by just being morons and trying to hotdog, but there is no doubt they are better than in 2006. All the young guys have grown a lot and they built the team around good guard play and good shooters at the 1-4 spots. Beat Canada by 55, struggled against Turkey and beat them by 32, but they seemed to be jetlagged a little bit, and then they come back 12 hours later and beat the crap out of Lithuania by 36, a team they could definitely see in the 1st round of the medal round. Play Russia at 3 in the morning on Sunday (Saturday night)

They look pretty good, but they've yet to really play anyone.

Lithuania is ranked #5 in the FIBA world rankings. They're not exactly a nobody, although not Spain or Greece.

Did the other two even qualify for the Olympics? I just hope they don't think they've already won the Gold.

Lithuania, Russia, and Australia are all in Group A, so chances are we will see at least one of them in the first round of the medal round

They looked really good today, except seems they still can't hit a 20 foot jumper. We're small, it was strange to see China of all countries make our team look small. Jason Kidd needs to ride some pine, he had a sweet pass though after a hideous turnover. LeBron's the best basketball player on the planet, Kobe is still a petulant little child.

Should be fun, we need to stay focused and it should be no problem. Seeing Paul and Williams in the same backcourt just won't be fair for other teams.

Our best unit is Paul, Wade, Bryant, Lebron, Bosh. Best defensive unit, puts pressure on the opponents perimeter, getting steals, and no team can run with this lineup. Bosh has been our best hustle player for rebouds, his game seems more suited for the international game than Howard. Got to be able to move your feet.

i thought bosh looked lost, but who knows. jason kidd shouldn't get any pt. if your pg can't shoot, it pretty much nullifies his good passing ability. at least in the half court game.
