And this is a public school? :saywhat:

That's way, way over the line. I wouldn't even want that happening with my own kids (if I had any, of course). Seriously, Vito, I think it may be time to say something to the principal.

Yes, it is a Public School. Very difficult situation. We discussed things with the principal at the Elementary school last year. This year, it is happening at the Intermediate School (5-6) that my daughter is attending. My son has only received one WWJD bracelet for good behavior in computer lab at the elementary school so things there are better or my son is behaving worse.

We have a meeting scheduled Friday with the Ass't Principal for Curriculum and my daughter's teachers at the Int. School. The meeting is a regular parents/teachers conference but the subject will be brought up.

HB, it's a very difficult situation. We make a stink about it, even at the lowest levels and the effects can come back on our kids. It's tough enough being a young adolescent without having to deal with the reprecussions of being from a family that is "against God" in a small NC community. She catches enough shit for it already because of it.

We are looking at moving, and this issue is a part of it, but it is difficult because of my wife's father. At 91, we can't be too far away. Of course, if our objections get any public notice, I'm sure moving will be required.

    Umm. Guess not.

That's a pretty screwed up situation then. I'm really not sure how I would deal with that either. I think I'd have to go with the how to get your Satanic church closer to Satan though.

My daughter went to a Montessori School from pre-school to grade 4. My son just did the pre-school bit.

The unpardonable sin is not atheism, agnostiscism, God haters. No that sin can be forgiven! What is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? That! is the unpardonable sin! Now, this sin, the Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, the sin that can never, never, never, never, be forgiven! Is a sin that one may commit and will commit knowingly, willfully, with his eyes wide open and then forever shut.
