new members, go to your "user cp" at the top of the screen and switch from "default" to "test" mode. It is alot more customized, sort of like at cusatalk when you made "charlotte" your school.

 

and easier on your eyes.

 

and check the instructions on the sticky thread at the top of the HALL OF FAME forum.

also, when i'm at work, i go to the user CP and disable sigs, avatars and images. plus i use the "default with stuff" style.

it's the clean view.

 

also, you can never see posts from certain users by going to your USER CONTROL PANEL >> EDIT IGNORE LIST and putting in the name of the member you wish to never see again.

 

Ha! This is EXACTLY what I do at work every day. Looks very professional. Then I turn them all on and change back to test mode at home.

Hey Metro, what got you banned over at cusa?

 

sf, I got banned for consistently pointing out SC Conways double standards.

He allows a thread on the Memphis sports board called "uncc idiots" yet he gets mad at me for smacking back at them in defense.

He allows Kpig to say **********, faggot, and mf-er....yet I get warnings for saying Cal sucks or posting how Memphis has yet to win a NCAA tourny game in CUSA repeatedly, and I NEVER got personal on anyone, just a school.

SC said, "I don't care what you do, just keep it on the smack board"......so I did, and got banned.

They say I instigate too much, yet MissJ and Kpig continue to post smack on the main 49er sports forum to this day.

It comes down to one thing IMO, if you give the site enough money, you can post what you want, but if you don't give them a dime, you better watch out.

the coolest thing about it, is that this board has exploded this week, and the other board created about 2 threads.

I think it is sad that SC was allowed to run off HP, Me, and Nineradvocate....3 of the biggest 49er fans you'll find, but I am glad it has all happened now. I have alot of info that I will share here, and the others who know what is going on will be here too. Let groucho and gang keep cheering with blind eyes, and let this be reality.

more settings advice:

you can go to your "user cp" at the top of the page and set up your private messages in "edit options" so they pop up when you get one. you have to activate it though.

 

Metro, I used to think you worried about "black helicopters" too much, but damn if you aren't right about kpig and missjhooch.
