If this was a power ranking based on special teams and D-line it’s easy –

    1. Carolina
    2. everybody else

Since it’s not I’m going to stay with the easy thing and steal Foxman’s list with a little shuffling in the middle of the deck -

    As of Week 2
    1. Kansas City 2 0
    2. Buffalo 2 0
    3. Seattle 2 0
    4. Minnesota 2 0
    5. Pittsburgh 1 1
    6. Indianapolis 2 0
    7. Tampa Bay 1 1
    8. N.Y. Giants 2 0
    9. New England 1 1
    10. Green Bay 1 1
    11. Denver 2 0
    12. Tennessee 1 1
    13. St. Louis 1 1
    14. San Francisco 1 1
    15. Carolina 2 0 (until our offense becomes consistently effective we shouldn’t be much higher)
    16. Washington 2 0 (they have to be rated below us because they can’t handle our st’s or either line and we WILL kick their ass in nov.)
    17. Atlanta 1 1 (with Vick they might be top 10 . . . damnit)
    18. Miami 1 1
    19. Oakland 1 1 (fell asleep at the wheel this week)
    20. Baltimore 1 1
    21. N.Y. Jets 0 2 (with Pennington they move up about 5)
    22. New Orleans 1 1
    23. Detroit 1 1 (they are going to inch up the ratings to the 500 lvl later in the year)
    24. Houston 1 1
    25. Philadelphia 0 2 (something is seriously wrong in Philly right now)
    26. Cleveland 0 2
    27. Dallas 0 2 (they won’t stay down here very long with tuna around)
    28. Jacksonville 0 2
    29. San Diego 0 2
    30. Cincinnati 0 2
    31. Chicago 0 2
    32. Arizona 0 2

Plus Peete started. 24-9 in the second half. We were better, Peete was holding us back.

I'm pulling for the Cowboys just to spite those here who claimed the Giants are the best team in the NFL and show how futile it is to rank teams based on one game. :D

and to even rank the teams before the play is done for week can make you look really stupid.
