We all know the end of the season will look nothing like this. I don't understand the point or validity of such early rankings.

    I know.

Because Wp called the Bills a month ago and he's feeling pretty good about it.

True. It's fun to talk about. That's the point. Really, it has about as much validity as College polls this early as well.

I do think the Bills and Cheifs look damn good. Bills D is better IMO, so I give them a slight edge. But when the winds of Buffalo come in Dec, will they be the same?

I am questioning it. have you watched the Chiefs? I havent watched the Bills closely, but I can not imagine a team working it better than the Chiefs right now. I also did call the Bills to win the division so I do think they are rocking right now. I'll call it a push since I havent watched them. Minnesota dominated Green Bay in Greenbay and then beat Chicago which is usually a tough game for them since they are in the same division and thats why I rate them as high as I do. Well that and the fact that Moss and Culpepper are looking really good.

Not quite yet. we struggled against a sorry Jacksonville team we should have beat as soundly as the Bills beat them and did absolutely nothing in the Red Zone yesterday. Until the offense comes around and starts putting up TD's on a consistant basis, I don't see us as Top 10.

Hey, I pickem for the division! ;)

Cheifs are looking good, with Priest. Its remarkable that he overcame that injury so quickly. Props. They have a good "with the lead" defense rushing the passer. Didn't watch the game, they gave up some yardage but got some sacks.

Overall though, I think I'd take the Bills D.

I think we'll see that the Jacksonville game was an exception primarily because Del Rio knew our team so well and coached his players specifically about our tendecies and weaknesses.
