With the first overall pick of the 2008 TBR Mock Draft, the Miami Hasbeens -- er, Dolphins, select...

Looks like youre St. Louis too, hasbeen99. PP misspoke when he said KC, if you look at his list. Youre the top two, bro.

Fair enough. With the 2nd overall pick in the 2008 TBR Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select...

    Glenn Dorsey, DT, LSU

AH! The Falcons are flushed right now....didnt expect that.

With Jamaal Anderson and John Abraham on the roster, and a thin rotation at DT, I really wanted Dorsey for this pick. In real life, of course, Id be happy with them NOT getting him.

Chris Long is tempting, considering Abraham is hurt a lot, and Anderson was disappointing.

Sedrick Ellis would be mighty tempting, as he is fast, has the ability to play all gap schemes...34 or 43....fits nicely in Smith's D. Hes big....short, but big. The bloodline is tempting as well too, with Long. But two DEs back to back? Hm. Time is running out. Is this a reach? Maybe. But the depth is thin, and Ellis could be a true dominator at the position, and is incredibly strong. Faster than Stroud, as strong as...more versatile...Smith's kinda guy. Some will call it a reach, but for years to come, Ellis will play a part of a defense that will be re-tooled to be a big, fast, physical unit. He's all those things. ANd a leader, and a hard worker.

    Sedrick Ellis, DT, USC
