I'm pretty sure your list is correct. Those are the finalists, Rodgers didn't make it.

Chad Wilson, OLB for UNC just won the heisman on NCAA 2005...my 12th year, and my 5th National Championship in a row.

You haven't seen the tirade that ensues when he loses. It's much safer for the championships to continue.

I find the Bush hype rather bizarre. Outside of the UCLA game, Bush hasn't even been the best RB on his own team, but hardly anyone outside of California even knows who Lendale White is. Bush has been dynamic as a receiver and in the return game, but his overall impact on a week to week basis has been grossly overestimated. I think Leinart is somewhat overrated as well, but he probably gets the Heisman. It's just strange to me that Cedric Benson didn't even get a trip to NY. The longhorns had absolutely no passing game and Benson still had only one game (OU) with less than 140 yards. Meanwhile Alex Smith really didn't play against any good defenses all year, and benefits enormously from a trick offense.

But ultimately I have to agree that Peterson deserves it. If he had started from the beginning of the season there probably wouldn't even be any debate. He's certainly the "best" player in college football in terms of the guy you'd pick to build a team around, but he also has the stats if you want to look at it that way.
