Yes - I think that's based on your body getting used to the sweetness, and the craving carrying over to where people are going nuts on chocolate and sweets (hmmmmmm chocolate and sweets  ).

I'm not saying I don't have diet drinks with Aspartame in them - I do, but I moderate it. I went to my Doctor one day and my liver enzyme tests came back completely out of whack, enough to indicate that I was a serious alcoholic. At that time, I barely drank alcohol (like one glass of wine at Christmas). I was however, drinking diet drinks like nothing on earth. Anyway - it just made me more aware of it. I'm all for people doing what they want though - I smoke and know the risks, so I'm not up on any high horse about risky behaviour. I'm just saying know and make an informed decision about what you consume.

It's not just my opinion about Aspartame being really dodgy, it's right on out there.

What you could use Paul is an organic soda sweetened with honey. Sounds rank, but I have it from time to time (for a change) and it's quite nice.

It has been three weeks since I started and I am down 13 pounds, according to my home scales. My appetite is much less than it was before I started this.

    Excellent!

The same thing happened to my appetite when I started my program. I was hungry at first, but the cravings subsided after a week or so. It was all good from there, until I got very close to my target weight. It definitely sounds like you've chosen a good program, Thelt. Keep on it -- I'm looking forward to seeing how this works out for you in the long run. :xyxthumbs:

I hope it keeps working. I keep hearing negative stuff about weight loss that is drug assisted but it seems like any weight loss is good weight loss. It is not like you can not gain weight back if you lose it without drugs.

18 pounds after four weeks. I have dropped my pants size from a 38 to a 36. My blood pressure is down too.
