    I hope Heel fans don't get too upset if he doesnt come to UNC. What has he really done? Won 2nd place 4 times.

    honestly I wouldn't be shocked at ALL at this point... I've kinda reached the point I don't think he will come, but that doesn't mean I would prefer him as the new coach.

    think if Williams turns it down Baddour will say he never offered? If he does, he can kiss his ass goodbye. Everyone knows Williams has been offered

    If Williams doesn't come the official position will be that UNC never offered. That way Roy doesn't have to say he turned them down again and Baddour can say we decided to look elsewhere and say the guy they hire was the first choice.

    and of course Doherty resigned of his own free will as well... :rolleyes:

    Baddour is done if tries to pull that crap. Someone is saying it's done. Roy will be the highest paid coach in Div I at UNC.

    As always Vitale used a lot of room but said nothing.

    IMHO, I don't think Roy will accept the non offer. The dynamic duo of Smith and Baddour are beginning to look more like Shinn and Wooldridge. :D

    The latest:

    4-14-03: THT has learned that around 3:30 this afternoon there will be players meeting with Roy Williams. UNC Annoucement to follow. An Agreement was accepted by Roy Williams from the University of North Carolina to be the next head mens' basketball coach. Terms is a 10 year contract for 1.7 Million dollars a year. Press conference is scheduled for 3:30 tomorrow but may take place sooner.

    The Roy meeting with his players has been confirmed... but the other has yet to be confirmed.
