I'm not real certain what your point is but the fact is TOB is having a horrible season because of suspensions, transfers, injuries, and lack of talent on the defense. That's why I imply that he will be given time to turn it around but as I stated earlier improvement will have to start next year.

My point is that Butch Davis has dealt with all of these things too. Hell, he lost about 5 O-linemen that were either starters or primary back ups, all before the season even started, and then his starting center and starting LG both got hurt in the first two games of the season. Not only that, but he's having to play true freshmen WR's and has lost 3 TB's and his starting FB just in the last month.

I'm not saying that TOB is a bad coach at all, and I agree that he should be given time to build his program, but there wasn't much difference at all in the talent on these teams when they both started. Hell, in Butch Davis's first year, he was one play away from having to start walk ons at several different positions every week, and he had to start true freshmen all over the place on defense in his first season.

Also, Kentwan Balmer was drafted way above of his talent level, Hilee Taylor was only a 7th round pick, and neither one of them are NFL starters. Goddard didn't even make it to the NFL at all, so these guys were not superstars by any stretch.

And just for the record, didn't Amato recruit Russell Wilson, Alan Michael Cash, Nate Irving, and Willie Young, among others that are still playing for TOB? Those are some pretty damn talented players, IMO.

did you think like me that TOB left after Ryan's senior year, and like me you did the research and found out he did indeed leave before his senior year?

After watching both these teams play several games this year, it seems that UNC should win... So I'll predict State wins 24-23

The game will be dedicated to Bible, so State wins.

...Ive seen every home game this year at NCSU. they CAN score 24 or more. but will they VS. UNCs daunted defense?
and as for UNC, their offense is horrible. Yates, God bless the kid, just isn't getting it done. Now no doubt, TJ is pulling out the stops and doing the best he can, all be it with a subpar O line, injuries, suspensions, lalalalal, and every other excuse that ALL teams seem to throw into the 'why we're not winning" equation.
Both of these programs need to pick up the pace.

Final score UNC 0- NCSU 0
