can't imagine what it's going to be like at Ford Field. If you're not 10 rows or in, it's not worth it at all.

Shit, ive been in box seats at at LJVM (2000) and Gboro (2001) and those TVs didnt even have the replay (in house feed).....its fun but like you said TV is better, now ACC Tourney the atmosphere is so much better b/c most if not all of the games are competetive where as I would not shell out the $$$ to watch Duke abuse a 15 seed, nor if i were a UNC fan to watch them beat up on a 16 seed....and typically the other games you could give 2 fucks about even if they are the next round match up......the set up helps the NCAA b/c of the fan draw and it helps UNC/Duke b/c there is little travel involved.....other than that the atmosphere isnt that great.

I went to Gboro for session 2 and there were more Duke fans there than UNC, but it wasnt a huge difference. The heel fans took off at the half or at the first TV timeout of the second half after Duke's spurt pushed the lead to 22. Say what you want about Heel fans, believe me, I generally hate em, but they showed up by the thousands to suffer through the snorefest that was Texas and MInnesota and to cheer for Binghamton/ boo Duke.

by the way, no beer sales sucked!

Does the Mississippi River have anything to do with Carolina winning the National championship? The Heels won in 1982 and 1993 with the final four held on the river in New Orleans. Carolina won it in 93 in St Louis, on the river again. Now they head to Memphis for the Regional on the river. Food for thought for people who believe in such things.

I don't think Detroit is real close to the river
