I do like the idea of hiring coaches with a 2 year first contract. instant lame duck status.

    Lol.

No wonder players get so pissed though...they make a mistake and bam, they're gone. Just not the same level of accountability for coaches it seems - especially coordinators it seems.

Rivera needs to reign his OC in, who I think is a great coach, but can get fucking stupid too often.

The team had a shit game. Horrible penalties, particularly Munnerlyn's special teams blunder.

    Perhaps:

    1. Stewart is THAT good.
    2. Wharton is missed.
    3. Tampa is much improved defensively.

Tape up your vaginas and deal with it.

I wonder if they were that worried, without Stewart, that they didn't want to overuse DW. That would be dumb, but it's possible. There had to be some reason that they had under 10 non-quarterback runs.

I expected Carolina to lose. Schiano is a good coach and the Panthers aren't physical.

Chud is an asset, to the point where some here suggest that dumping Rivera to keep him is both feasible and prudent.

The line was weak today, and Newton held the ball too long on several occasions.

Ah, love these week one losses to teams we irrationally view as inferior.

For what it's worth, a recent college coach is the last guy you want to be using spread elements against in the NFL since he'll have more experience against it than anyone.

    Unimpressed by our rookies.
