    Any one?

I'd take Moose from last year and cut Hill. That would make a great impact.

A close second would be Davis of 03 for Cramer.

I'd like the old Mitchell back, and Donnely starting instead of King Tut. Then we could run.

Can it be non-players? If so, I'll take Dr. James Shortt.

I have to 2nd the He Hate Me for Michael Bates. I used to love watching when that guy hit full stride returning kicks. Track guys rock in football when they are not fragile.

I wouldn't put Buerlein in this offense at all. But give him Davis from 03 and that year's defense, we would could have made a Super Bowl with Steve at the helm that year. Oh wait, we did.

Steve was more efficeint, more consistent. Doesn't have Jake's zip or deep ball, but always stepped into his throws so you would get what he had. He was gutty.

He threw some bad picks in a few tough spots that I remember, even in 99, Rams game was one. But we threw the ball a lot, had a shitty defense, and he had to win it or lose it, and with a shitty line.

OTOH, put Davis on that 99 team and you're probably in the playoffs. There's really not much fixing that D, but healthiest Jenkins couldn't have hurt.

He was also guilty of holding the ball too long, through almost all of 2000, in an offense that suggests you not.
