For this Sunday I am doing a few different things.

For the main course I am spending a good portion of Saturday smoking down a 25lb whole rib-eye that I just got finished rubbing down in some spices just a few minutes ago. I will smoke it to about a 140 degree internal temp and then take it off and cut it down to steaks and then baggy them up in the fridge. I will then cook the smoked steaks to order on Sunday at the tailgate.

As something to have in the grill cooking before I put the steaks on I will have 6 racks of baby back ribs in my special fruit spice rub and then mop them with a strawberry based glaze on Sunday.

Off to the side will be a fully stocked baked potato par, some bean dish, and a few veggie dishes along with some home made garlic bread.

Good way to start things off!

Bojangles. It's too hot this time of year to sit around a grill in a parking lot. I usually do chicken & ribs but I couldn't motivate to do it this past week knowing how hot it was going to be.
