I am going to stop drinking diet sodas but want to start drinking tea but with Splenda. That's usually what I drink when I'm eating out. Problem is I am not very good at it. I typically buy the family sized bags of Louisianne or Tetley tea. I don't like t too sweet, usually 1/2 a cup of sugar per gallon. How many family bags do you use and how much water. I remember my grandmother boiling water (small pot) then putting in 2-3 family bags and let it steep for a period of time and then pour into a gallon pitcher put sugar in and then fill up with cool water. Any other variations?

Make Splenda Tea all the time ..

    My method

1- 4-5 Louisianne tea bags placed in coffee maker
2- Pot of water for coffee maker and start
3- 1 1/4 cup of Splenda in Pither
4- Add cold water till 1/2 full and stir
5- When coffee maker is done add tea
6- Drink a great glass of tea

try 1/2 cup and add till you get your sugar taste like you prefer

I've done it this way, using the coffee maker but never knew the proper number of bags verses amount of water (of each). Thanks

I sweeten mine with 2-3 cups of high-fructose corn syrup....per gallon that is.
