    i called it!

damn -- that was the best survivor ever.

osten: punk. pussy. quitter. loser. pansy. sorry. good-for-nothing. quitter. loser. quitter. loser.

he can't ever hear those words enough, in my opinion. that whole tribe was biting their tongues.

and shawn had to go. if burton came back to drake, he and shawn would have been buddy-buddy. shawn just says whatever he thinks will keep his ass clean.

fred should be happy that burton is back in the show.

i'm glad, too, that jeff ripped osten and that cbs didn't let him have any final words.

osten, you just shamed yourself, your family and boston. at least the red sox went down swinging.

    from his CBS bio:

"His favorite hobbies are boozing with the fellas from UNH & The Braintree Boyz in Bean-Town, fitness training and golfing. He describes himself as outspoken, personable and focused. He is most proud of having worked on Wall Street, which was a childhood goal. His favorite sport is basketball. His father is his hero because he was able to put himself through college and graduate school, graduating Magna Cum Laude, while supporting two kids. He feels he's ready for SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS because of his mental stability, patience, wisdom, resourcefulness and God's blessing. His birth date is December 10, 1975. "

your father should disown your loser ass and you are about as mentaly stable as a two-legged chair.

    loser.

ISLE BE BACK: 'SURVIVOR' LOSERS GET 2ND CHANCE

    By DON KAPLAN

October 31, 2003 -- AFTER last night's "Survivor" sweeps twist, it's clear that not only the strong will survive on what continues to be TV's biggest reality show.

For the first time since its debut in 2000, "Survivor" brought back six castaways who'd been tossed from the game and allowed them to compete for a second chance at the $1 million prize. The new rules resulted in two castaways getting sent home for good and two others winning a second chance.

The twist came when the six castaways who had been voted out of the game - Nicole Delma, Ryan Shoulders, Lill Morris, Trish Dunn, Michelle Tesauro and Burton Roberts - were revealed as belonging to a new tribe called the Outcasts. They were quickly pitted against the other two tribes in an immunity challenge and won.

Each of the losing teams, Drake and Morgan, were then required to vote out one team member. The Morgan tribe was spared the vote when one castaway, Osten Taylor, quit.

The episode was the first of two parts. Next week, the twist will be complete when two members of the Outcasts are voted back into the game, although it's not clear how it will be decided which tribe each of the two Outcasts join.

"Survivor" producers had planned the twist from the beginning of the show's current edition. To keep the Outcasts in the game, they were hidden at a secret camp where they were given meager food rations.

Typically, when contestants have been voted out, they've been taken to a more luxurious camp or hotel, where the show's crew stays during filming.

The series' current edition, "Survivor: Pearl Islands," is the show's seventh. It takes place on a chain of islands off the coast of Panama.

Last week, Survivor was the fourth-highest rated show on TV - and it reigns as the most-watched reality show of all.

Osten is just pathetic. He said to continue would be letting down his tribe, and he just didn't wan to to that. Gimme a break. Talk about trying to save face and failing miserably.

I wonder what words Jeff will have for Osten at the end of all this, when all the castaways meet at the finale. or maybe Osten won't have the nuts to show up.

You can also tell Jeff really hates Jon. Me too. Sad that he's from Danville, less than an hour from here.

I wish they had gotten rid of Jon last night and not Shawn. He really grates on my nerves.

jon ain't going no where. they are at the point in the game where, assuming a merge, folks will start plucking off the competition and carrying jon towards the final. everyone left knows he is a dillweed. why wouldn't they carry him along if the jury has got to choose?

You have a point, and that may be the best thing to do strategically. I just know that if I were stranded out there, I wouldn't be able to stand him that long.

just think of how easy it will be to win against him though. i mean, for $1,000,000 i'd hope he's in the final three with me. he's wuss out in the physical endurance challenge, then yo get to whack whoever else is ther and take jon into the final with you. piece of cake.
